Early this morning I bought and tried Loreal Paris hair dye from the local supermarket. So far it seems okay, it's fairly gentle on my scalp compared to other hair dyes. My hair is thick and black, so something that effectively lightens my hair while not being so irritating is nice. :)
Before I used to use Japanese hair dyes but they've become a bit too expensive on my wallet, plus the color, though beautiful, didn't seem to last long - only a month at most. Don't even get me started on hair dyes from beauty salon supply stores. Those dyes are strong and harsh if not applied properly. And the color didn't last long - two weeks.
